Event Introduction
The luxury market in China will be the biggest in the world by 2015. Moreover, this rapid growth is driven by the world’s youngest luxury consumers, with more than 80% of buyers younger than 45 years old. This is the same demographic that spends the most time online, and whose purchasing decisions are increasingly influenced by digital channels.
This unique combination of rapid market growth and widespread digital adoption can be both exciting and daunting for marketers who aim to tap this huge potential. More brands are trying to integrate social media into their campaigns, but at the same time they can also be overwhelmed by its pace and complexity. They realize that this channel is important, but the challenge remains: How can luxury brands connect to China's social influencers?
L’Atelier, in coordination with P1.CN and SAME SAME, is organizing a conference entitled “Social Branding for Luxury in China” to discuss these issues and more. This event will surely be beneficial for luxury brands adapting to the fast-changing digital landscape, guiding marketers to make better decisions on how to engage China’s affluent consumers through social media.
