3D Human anatomy app to reproduce the arrangement & movement of a living human

Tokyo based TEAMLAB BODY Inc., have released teamLabBody -3D Motion Human Anatomy-. The iPad app (US$29.99) is the world's first to reproduce the arrangement and movement of a living human and is available in English and Japanese. It reproduces in animation the movements of the joints in a living human body in 3D -- able to see the forms and movements of the 3D human skeleton from any angle and magnification. iPad users will be able to see highly accurate reproductions of muscles, ligaments, nerves, blood vessels, and bones of the human body. Made for orthopedists and physiotherapists, this application is also useful for explaining to patients during examinations.

Japan Tourism Agency innovative souvenir : an embossed lacquerwork iPhone cover…

Foreign judges from 15 countries and regions as well as experts from selected domestic sectors -- including sightseeing and distribution -- appointed to a panel of the Charming Japanese Souvenir Contest, held by the Japan Tourism Agency since 2005, have met for the final screening and selected "unryu washi rampu" (a Japanese paper lantern) for the Charming Japanese Souvenir 2013 Grand Prize out of 636 items sent in for the contest. The panel also selected eight category prizes -- gold, silver and copper prizes each for the Traditional Japan and Cool Japan categories, the Luxury Prize and the Reasonable Prize. In the COOL JAPAN Category (“which integrate Japanese culture and technologies “), the Bronze prize goes to an embossed lacquerwork iPhone Cover, sold at 3,990 yen.
