The Social Local Mobile wave is getting some attraction in the Asian island.
Far EasTone, a Taiwan mobile telecom operator, unveils today FET SoLoMo. With what it called a “mobile Engagement as a Service platform”, Far EastTone could reward consumers through native app engagements with local and contextually relevant mobile ads. The goal is to increase monetization for the developer and increase revenue for merchants and brands via mobile commerce and in-store foot traffic.
FET SoLoMo Commerce, was created in collaboration with Seatle based Sirqul. The solution includes an app development platform, a retailer platform (advertising portal) and an ad serving and RTB - Real Time Bidding - platform (ad server targeting by demographics, app, content, behavior, and location data).
