Easynet , European leader in Internet access, is developing an Internet
incubator program aimed at Internet startups, which it has christened
"Easy Take Off".
This program provides office space for rental, with immediate access, in
five different office buildings, close to Easynet France’s two Data
Centers, in the Beaubourg district of Paris’ 4th arrondissement.
Easynet obtained its L33.1 / L34.1 mixed license on August 6th, 1999 and
went on to develop its own optical fibers and to create a network using
the latest high speed transmission technology, between these five
buildings. Easy Take Off provides office space, divided into modular units
of between 80 m² and 500 m², immediately linked up to the multiple
interconnections of its European backbone. Complete connection packages
are provided, for permanent high-speed point-to-point links, with no
connection costs or France Télécom line rental fees, in one fixed-rate
transaction. The IP incubator also provides a service hosting servers in
Easynet’s secured machine room, an e-business and consulting platform.
According to Xavier Gérardin, Easy Take Off project manager, these
immediate access offers cover all the needs of an Internet startup.
