The electronic boutique Chronogramme.com is a service set up by Chronopost
in 1999.
The site http://www.chronogramme.com, entirely developed by Webnet, the
specialist in Internet-Intranet-Extranet engineering, allows a chronogram
to be sent, i.e.: a message created using a computer, printed in different
forms (telegram, greetings card with photo or personalized illustration,
or postcard), which can also by accompanied by a gift, chosen from among a
selection, delivered by a messenger anywhere in mainland France, on the
date chosen, or to correspondents living outside mainland France, by a
postal delivery service.
The customer writes his / her message, chooses an illustration, delivery
date (except Sunday and French public holidays. This is all then
transported and delivered in a special Chronogram Case.
The back-office then creates a file, an order, an invoice ....
Files are dealt with and integrated into the Chronogram production system.
In order that the customer may follow his / her chronogram, a whole
follow-up system exists between the Internet and Chronopost.
The site is updated regularly, to include new pictures, promotions etc...
